Hamster Playground Promotion |

A new and highly visible Fix-a-Form helped the marketing team at the UK subsidiary of a multi-national pet product company to draw in sales via a promotion that's as good as it looks.
Customers who saw these hamster playgrounds in the various high street retail outlets were encouraged to buy them with the promise of a ‘Guaranteed Win' courtesy of Hagen. Prizes included the PC Game Hamster Ball and Premium Quality Living World Hamster Food and Treats.
The unique win number printed inside the Fix-a-Form leaflet label made everything happen. 12 000 Fix-a-Forms were printed and each randomly printed number corresponded to a specific prize. The Fix-a-Forms were printed in English and French so the same product could be sold in England, France and Canada.
Explains their Marketing Executive, "Denny Bros suggested the random numbering device to us and we agreed to it as a safe and effective method of running the promotion. The customer simply had to log onto our website and enter the number within their Fix-a-Form to find out more about their prize. It attracted people to the site where they could find out more about our products."
