A 'Don't Forget' style reminder note was the focus of a Bakers on-pack promotion offered to its customers by Nestle Purina. Bakers Meaty Treats come in a variety of flavours - and as the TV adverts suggest - dogs will do anything to get their paws on them. All different sizes and shapes, they are irresistible to dogs and a marketing dream.

 

1.55million multi-page labels were printed which included images, stills from the supporting TV adverts, brand facts and a money off coupon for redemption in-store.

 

"The laminate finish and quirky handwritten message gives the label real stand-out and appeal which is exactly what is needed within the highly competitive retail environment" explained a spokesperson for Nestle Purina.

 

"The retailers just love it, so judging from the reaction so far, this could be the start of things to come."
