Case Study No.17 - Fellowes 'Spot the Ball' Competition
 

With over 1,200 employees worldwide, Fellowes are a major player in the supply of workspace solutions of every description from shredders to desktop cleaning products.

 

To keep sales moving, Fellowes organise regular promotions for their  products and none have 'bean' more fun than the latest one. A 'Spot the Ball' competition is clearly seen on no less than 30 products from the company's desktop accessories range, all designed to prevent repetitive stress injury (RSI).

 

Products such as Gel Wrist Supports are sporting the wonderfully, wacky 10-page multi-page label from Denny Bros, which encourages purchasers to buy the product and get a chance to win one one of three family holidays to San Francisco, including an exclusive tour via Limousine to the Jelly Belly Candy Company headquarters in California.

 

Fellowes UK Trade Marketing Manager, comments, "This is the first promotion we've run in conjunction with the Jelly Belly Candy Company and although it's still early, we've already received a lot of entries, which is very encouraging."

 

"While all the products serve the same purpose, they're all different shapes and sizes, so the aim was to use just the one Fix-a-Form label across all product packs. We needed to condense the competition details, entry form, terms and conditions into one small area, so Fix-a-Form was the obvious choice. It only measures 40mm x 47mm but looks amazing on-pack."
