Case Study No.28 -
Look who's talking now... in many
languages |

When Mothercare recently took the decision to move to a single stock keeping unit (SKU) for all their licensees they looked to Fix-a-Form multi-page labels, from Denny Bros, to overcome the challenge of including multi-lingual instructions on-pack for their Baby Toiletries range.
Mothercare has a 40-year history as a high street retailer, with 232 stores throughout the UK plus a large overseas business via franchise stores. The change to a single SKU for this large overseas network meant the number of languages required on the label more than tripled.
Fix-a-Forms were produced for the Mothercare Baby Toiletries range which encompasses eight different products, including Baby Liquid Talc. Nine different languages were included on-pack for each product using a 10-page Fix-a-Form.
A spokesperson comments, "As all the information needed to be on pack this was the most obvious choice. It conveys all the relevant information in a way that does not detract from the overall product."
