Case Study No.32 - The Famous Grouse's Refreshing Change
 

Exciting new tastes and flavours have been at the heart of a summer drinks promotion, tantalising the taste buds of Famous Grouse drinkers.

Scotland’s favourite whisky brand, which has been independently operating in Scotland for over 200 years, wanted to offer its customers more ways to enjoy the drink. They used a Fix-a-Form multi-page label from Denny Bros to include recipes specially created to enhance the flavours of The Famous Grouse.

The four page Fix-a-Form, which has an extended base label to ensure the barcode and duty stamp are still visible, opens up to reveal the recipes for ‘The Ginger Grouse’ and ‘Grouse with Appletiser’. The promotion ran on 70cl bottles, available from major supermarkets across the UK.

A spokesperson from The Famous Grouse explains: “We decided to use Fix-a-Form as an innovative way to extend the advertising footprint available in the space of a standard rear label. The fact that this additional advertising could be applied during a conventional bottling operation was a real benefit. I was genuinely impressed by the Denny Bros operation and always felt the project was being well controlled, despite some last minute amendments.”
