The Beachy Head Brewery in East Sussex has made a 7.2 per cent vol beer called the Beachy Head Christmas Jumper to celebrate the festive season.
However, relatives of people who have fallen from the notorious suicide spot have slammed the company for being insensitive and crass.
Keith Lane, 61, whose wife Maggie died there, said he is "disgusted" to learn of the product.
"The brewery is aware of the objections to it, it should rename it because hundreds of people have been touched by deaths at Beachy Head," he added.
Brewery spokesperson Roger Green insisted that the moniker has been misconstrued and that it is referring to woolly Christmas clothing.
It is not known if the printed labels will be altered.
