Businesses that want inspiration for their next batch of custom designed labels might benefit from attending an upcoming event in Japan.
The Tokyo Pack 2012 show will give visitors the chance to see a number of new ideas and innovations in practice, which could help firms stand out from their rivals back home, Packaging Europe reports.
According to the Japan Packaging Institute, the owner of the exhibition, this should also serve as a good networking event and allow people to interact personally rather than over the internet.
"It is only through discussion and the exchange of ideas face to face that the global packaging industry can mature [and] create exciting new solutions," the group commented.
Other issues on the agenda are limiting the sector's impact on the environment and tackling problems such as counterfeiting.
The event, which is the largest of its kind in Asia, commences at Tokyo Big Sight on October 2nd this year and runs until the 5th.
