The printed labels for Cobra beer bottles have been altered in a bid to raise the product's profile and encourage sales.
Design consultancy Echo was tasked with revamping the beer's packaging, retaining the Indian heritage while also underlining the quality of the drink.
Although the green and gold colours were retained, they have been deepened and the printed label on the neck now has added texture.
Cobra's refreshing taste and full flavour are represented by the lower label's design and colours.
Echo's creative director Nigel Ritchie said: "Cobra is now on a journey to make its presence felt in both the on and off-trade and the new design will contribute significantly to this."
Meanwhile, in the soft drinks market, Britvic and PepsiCo UK recently announced that it will soon begin to sell a Handy Can in multipacks to make the most of beverages like Coca-Cola on the go and as a mixer.
Cobra could benefit from Auto-Collar Fix-a-Form labels on the necks of its new bottles to boost awareness of the revamped bottles.
