Pacific Natural Foods adopts new-look packaging 17/01/2012

Pacific Natural Foods may be reconsidering its printed labels and packaging as it looks to redesign the look of its products.

The firm has announced that its soup, broth and non-dairy beverage lines will be undergoing a makeover in 2012 in a bid to make them more appealing to consumers.

It hopes that the new look will be easier to find and printed labels will be altered to remover inconsistencies.

The redesign will include a modern logo, pictures of the fresh product and ingredients used in the foodstuffs as well as more information about the brand and its core values.

"With the new brand imagery and colour cues across all of our flavours, now you'll see a stronger block of Pacific products on the shelf, making it easier for shoppers to find and buy their favourites," said Kevin Tisdale, director of marketing for Pacific Natural Foods.

He added that a QR code will be included to give consumers access to recipe ideas.

Cadbury's has also announced a redesign in order to improve the 'shelf-appeal' of its chocolates.
