Prima, one of
the UK’s most successful entertainment agencies, used Promaxx
business cards from Denny Bros to overprint personal details from
their database of artists. Dennys supplied the A4 sheets (which
contain 10 removable cards) pre-printed with the Prima logo and
livery. Prima then customise each sheet with the name of the
particular artist.
Prima Artists supplies bands, music, magic, comedy, speakers and
entertainment for corporate and private events and parties around
London and across the UK. Their clients include Microsoft UK Ltd,
Babelfish PR, 3M, Alton Towers and BBC Radio Five. From a jazz
party, or tribute band to magicians, look-alikes and street
entertainers, they do it all. And business is booming according to
Partner Tony MacDonnell: “Prima
Artists is continuing to grow as we add on new clients and reach out
to new sectors. We have recently moved into the arena of cruise
ship entertainment and this is now a fast-emerging business centre
for us.”
“Image is everything in our business and so it made perfect sense to
order corporate cards for our artists from Promaxx which we as a
business could later personalise with individual artist names. Each
artist or group gets a quantity of cards for issue at an event or
function and this keeps the new business coming in.”
“Promaxx cards can be overprinted sheet by sheet and break cleanly
and crisply out of the carrier base to produce the perfect card that
can be stored easily in a wallet or purse. We were able to supply
our own design direct to Denny Bros and the company did the rest. We
are very impressed with the multi-functional product and with the
service we received from the Promaxx team at Denny Bros. From art
working to proofing and from printing to delivery, the whole process
was seamless and smooth.”
A major showcase launch party, staged recently by the company, was
set up to introduce the latest corporate and cruise ship services to
a wide audience of existing and potential clients. Madame Jo
Jo’s nightclub was the venue chosen for the launch day. All
that was needed to make everything go to plan was the delivery of
the new cards for the artists. The new cards arrived in perfect
time to make sure that - in true show business style - everything
was ... printed alright on the night.
