When we announced we hit our carbon neutrality target four years ahead of schedule, we made it clear our commitment to the environment was more than a paper exercise. It is a continuous, measurable journey.
We are proud to share this progress has been recognised on a global stage. Following a comprehensive audit, Denny Bros has maintained its EcoVadis Bronze medal status. With an updated score of 66/100, this independent assessment places Denny Bros in the top 35% of all companies evaluated globally by EcoVadis over the last 12 months.

EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, evaluating companies across four core pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
For our B2B partners, particularly those in highly regulated fields like pharmaceuticals, clinical trials, and chemical manufacturing, this certification provides objective, third-party proof choosing Denny Bros as your labelling partner strengthens your own sustainable supply chain initiatives.
This award is the direct outcome of long-term operational changes at our Bury St Edmunds facility, a journey we began more than 12 years ago. We have systematically analysed our entire footprint to ensure no stone was left unturned. While we achieved our verified carbon-neutral status by offsetting our remaining footprint, we only utilised offsetting as a final step after every other reduction avenue had been completely exhausted.
Our sustainability framework is built on several key pillars:
We run on 100% renewable energy, powered heavily by the continuous rollout and expansion of our on-site solar PV arrays alongside advanced heat pumps.
Maintaining a zero-waste-to-landfill policy, ensuring all waste generated is dealt with responsibly and recycled wherever possible. We also continuously monitor the quantities and types of materials in use to shrink our raw environmental impact.
Manage and minimise the effects of company vehicle use by transitioning to a low-emission vehicle fleet and promoting a company-wide cycle-to-work scheme.
Maintaining full certification to the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
Actively promote environmental awareness among our suppliers, contractors, and partners to drive scope 3 emissions down.
The results speak for themselves. Between 2018 and 2021, we reduced our corporate carbon footprint by 60%, dropping our baseline emissions year-on-year. By stripping out carbon equivalents from our manufacturing workflow first, we hit our net-zero operational milestones years ahead of the industry average, in turn supporting our clients drive to maintain a sustainable supply chain.
Our current EcoVadis certification remains valid until July 2027. However, an award like this isn’t a cue to slow down. The audit highlighted clear development targets for our team, which we will use as immediate improvement opportunities over the coming months.
We want to thank our team for their continued focus on sustainable print engineering, and our clients for continuing to support a greener manufacturing footprint.
