Denny Bros is proud to be a sponsor for Relay for Life, a local fundraiser supporting Cancer Research.
A popular and poignant event, Relay for Life sees teams of people take part in a 24-hour relay.
The event, on Saturday 1st July at Nowton Park in Bury, will see team members walk around a track and shine a light on those that have been affected by cancer.
Relay for Life also includes music and activities during the day and night and a Candle of Hope ceremony will be held between 9pm and 10pm.
Graham Denny, our managing director, said: “We are proud to be part of our local community and try and support it as much as possible.
“This is a very special event in our town and we wanted to do what we can to support and sponsor Relay for Life.
“Many of our staff members have been affected by cancer and this is one thing we can do to give something back and support such a worthwhile charity.”
We have also made a donation of £500 towards the first aid costs of the event.
